Nearly four decades of piping and mechanical engineering, most of it on projects where failure was not an acceptable outcome.
Jim's career runs through Chevron, ExxonMobil, GASCO in Abu Dhabi, WorleyParsons, and Zachry. Offshore production engineering off West Africa, including the Lianzi subsea tie-back between Angola and Congo. NGL processing in the Gulf. Refinery units across the Texas coast. Pipe stress and support engineering at a section management level on some of the largest EPC projects in the industry.
He founded PSEA in 2017 to do the work the way he thought it should be done: senior engineers on the problem from the start, no layers, and a seal that means something.

Around the principal engineer sits a standing group of senior discipline specialists, brought onto a scope as it requires them rather than carried as fixed payroll. One technical lead stays accountable for the whole of it, and no overhead reaches your rate for specialists your project never needed.
